Final Submission of the Enterprise Application Integration standard  profile of UML, incorporating the Component Collaboration Architecture.

Toronto, Canada, second week of September 2001

The final UML Profile for Enterprise Applicaton Integration (EAI), was  submitted at the Object Management Group (www.omg.org) meeting in Toronto, Canada on the second week of September'2001.

The  UML Profile for Component Collaboration Architecture (CCA), has been incorporated in EAI, and guarantees the alignment between EAI , and Enterprise Distributed Object Computing (EDOC).

The use of CCA in EDOC, EAI and ebXML (www.ebXML.org), offers to the industry a continuum of collaborative component modeling, and a unique triple standards alignment for Component-X.
