Model Driven Solutions Awarded Open Source Development Task For Registry Services Under GSA BPA

Model Driven Solutions, a Division of Data Access Technologies, Inc., won another major task from GSA under a Blanket Purchase Agreement awarded a little over two years ago.This task is for the development of an Open Source E-Government Reference Architecture (OSERA) Enterprise Services Registry.

Vienna, VA, 1 April 2008- Model Driven Solutions, a Division of Data Access Technologies, Inc., won a another major task from GSA for an Open Source E-Government Reference Architecture (OSERA) Enterprise Services Registry. MDS has, to date, won all bids let under the GSA Blanket Purchase Agreement awarded a little over two year ago.
 
Model Driven Solutions has been working with the Office of the CIO, its Chief Technology Officer and Chief Architect for the past three years to develop the One GSA Enterprise Architecture. In its efforts to extend this architecture across all of GSA, the agency is issuing a series of Request for Quotes (RFQs) to cover GSA Enterprise Architecture activities and procurements for the next five years.  This award is the seventh awarded by GSA, all to the Model Driven Solutions Team.
 
This Task Order is to develop an Open Source Registry Service and populate it with the services MDS had developed for the Office of the Chief Financial Officer (OCFO) Financial Management Enterprise Architecture Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) task. Currrently those services focus on Asset Accounting and include a number of advanced SOA capabilities such as Quality of Service and Policy capabilities. “This task takes our previous OSERA work and extends it to provide a standards based, accessable repository” said Cory Casanave, President and CEO of Model Driven Solutions and DAT.
